EFTA and MERCOSUR hold first round of negotiations
After four days of discussions, the 1st Round of Negotiations between the MERCOSUR and the EFTA States on a Free Trade Agreement was successfully concluded. The negotiations were held in a very constructive and amicable atmosphere and good progress was achieved in all areas.

EEA Joint Committee adopts "Roam like at Home" Regulation
The Standing Committee of the EFTA States and the EEA Joint Committee met in Brussels on 12 and 13 June 2017 respectively. In the Joint Committee meeting, 14 decisions were adopted incorporating 30 legal acts into the EEA Agreement.

During a fourth round of negotiations held from 6 to 9 June 2017 in Mexico City, delegations from the four EFTA States and Mexico continued their negotiations on a review of their Free Trade Agreement.
